Nia Stompanato | Loras College, NCAA DIII

Nia is a St. Charles native and graduate of Saint Francis College Preparatory High School.  After playing Varsity lacrosse at Saint Francis, Nia went on to play NCAA DIII at Loras College in Iowa.  The first 2 years of college, Nia started every game in the low defensive position. Slowly she began starting her transition to midfield. By the end of junior year she began taking the draw as high defense, and eventually pursued starting at the center position. She served as captain as well as achieved 4 year All-Academic Award through the MWWLC.

Throughout high school Nia helped River City seasonally and decided to become a coach for the girls travel team after graduating college.

We are honored to have Nia on board with us as we continue to grow girls lacrosse in our area!
