River City Teams
RCL has decided to unify our teams and compete at three different levels pertaining to their abilities. These teams will compete in local leagues and or tournaments against other Illinois and midwest teams. RCL Teams have the opportunity to compete throughout the fall, winter spring, and summer seasons.
RCL Teams are geared toward motivated players who are ready and willing to push themselves and their teammates to get better.
Led by River City’s premier and professional coaching staff, teams will begin training and team building in September which includes a weekly practice and position training as well as training/team building days with local River City partners like Tri City Boxing, Fox Valley Martial Arts, ProForce Athletic Training and more!

2018 Fall Lacrosse
Fall League is fast paced, exciting and fun lacrosse. River City offers a simple one day a week lacrosse option for players looking to continue their development. RCL Fall league is played on small fields with smaller rosters to encourage high tempo lacrosse while focusing on the important individual and team fundamentals of lacrosse.
Each Sunday will consist of a 15 minute warm up working on individual skill sets and situational drills, followed by 2, 25-minute running time halves. Games are played with 2 attackmen, 2 midfielders, 2 defensemen and a goalie. Face-offs will be at the beginning of each half. All other possessions begin with the goaltender clearing the ball. Rosters will be capped at 15 athletes per team. Each location has a River City Director on site to ensure quality and assist in team practices.
River City Fall Training is a player development program. In these one day a week training sessions, coaches will be focusing on the players individual skill sets and team concepts. Players are grouped by age and Blue, Grey, or White teams. Each location has a River City Director on site to ensure quality and assist in team practices.
*Blue, Grey, and White teams are based on River City Evaluations on September 8th.
*Players who miss evaluations on September 8th can be evaluated on Day one of Fall Training.
